The game is a solid rental. You guys need to stop hoping other console's exclusives are bad to make your purchases more justified.

I agree with that statement. Haze is dead and buried. Stop bringing up the past and kindly move on. There's no need to beat on Haze like that. It wasn't a 'Halo-Killer', and it wasn't perfect.

In my opinion any game under a 7.0/10 is bad, and a 7.0/10 is average, but I think that 7.0/10 is a pretty low score for any Exclusive game though. To be honest I really don't think that Microsoft even expected much from the game at all because I don't really remember hearing anything about the game during E3 or during Microsoft's press conference at E3.

Madden is regard as one of the worst yearly games in the video game business yet every year this game scores 8's and 9's and it sells millions every year. MGS4 could be one of the worst games of all time yet look at the scores it got. So reviews are not everything

Haze was not a 10 year project. Therefore Too Human is a bigger fail and it had plans to make a trilogy.

If they use there own engine for the next Too Human maybe it will be something greater then this first one which has been clouded with misfortunes, ie. the problems with epic and UE3.

KZ was good yet KZ2 looks Amazing. If they put in work TH2 could end up very good. I eventually will get Too Human. Just not right away it seems. I have yet to get Lair yet I will eventually get that too.

The holiday season is so full of win and early 09 as well I may wait months before I pick up any bargain bin titles.

but this game sucks! I did not like it, and do not need some game site telling me how good it is, that's what they think, and i dont care what they think, i only care what i think of it. The game is basically a button masher and repetitive. Only instead of using the buttons to do the sword attacks it uses the right analog stick and that's it "new" thing. Stupid! very stupid, so its basically a "analog stick masher" (that's copyrighted folks, lol). The camera is horrible, and it doesnt even look good and has bad framerate problems. Very poor game in my opinion.

As for the "stoping hoping 360 games are bad" people. Its just pay back from the Sony fanboys, cuz youse where doing it to them first, way back since 2006 and payback's a b!tch. Deal with it. and if you cant take it, then dont dish it. People should just realize that any game can easily go bad, on either system, PERIOD!!! Halo 4 is NOT gauranteed to be good. Diablo gameplay is legendary. Too Human gameplay (according to demo) Is Death by Degrees (an Off shoot of Tekken w/Nina Williams)Ps2.

Right analog to attack in 360 direction. I played diablo on pc though so maybe im tripping.

Umm, to anyone thats actually played it and not just read about it, Haze wasn't as bad as early previews suggested either, so in that sense, Too Human is Xbox's Haze. A solid, competent game, that wont change the world. Big deal.

As for the game itself, I wish Dydack would just shut up about it and let gamers decide. It seems the big sell is being pushed at the moment by him and others apparently shocked at the though of XBox having a big flop. If the games good, we'll work it out. If its not, we'll work that out too.

I am not sure what Haze is all about because I never played it but at least this seems to be a more positive review for this game.

I really enjoy the Diablo games so I might give this a whirl after I get a 360 in Sept.

Last thing, I have never seen a website (n4g) more excited and dedicated to watching games fail and hating on their hobby in general. To think that the most vocal people on this site (I won't even call them gamers because they are not) take joy in watching games fail and these hard working developers who spent their time and invest years of their lives into games are insulted like this. I would love to see any of the haters make a game better than Too Human. You are not obligated to buy the game but somehow you feel obligated to be total pricks about it.

I think people deserve better than that. If this game was not all that and a half.. Dyack should have kept his mouth shut. After hearing for years that "This game is gonna be a Revolution! blah blah blah.. Like nothing you've ever played before!" then people should be critical of it not living up to its self-proclaimed hype. If all he said was "We're making a game, we think it's good and you should try it" and left it at that, I don't think people would feel as obligated to feed his words back to him. Games are expensive, developers are obligated to the consumers, not the other way around.

Even if this scores like Haze, I'd still rather much play Too Human. Haze was a mediocre FPS game. Too Human, is... well, not too sure what it's labeled as, but I haven't played a game like this since Diablo, and this will surely hold my attention until Diablo 3 comes out. The story intrigues me (much more than Haze did), and it will be nice to have this to play, as it will be something new.

Did anyone here actually play Haze (demo doesn't count) because I did, and it was fun... it wasn't great but it certainly wasn't an unpleasant experience. I think both games are similar that they lack mass appeal but offer something for a specific audience, the big difference is that FPS fans (Haze's audience) have so many AAA FPS's to play, while the Loot-crazed third person, tredmill RPG fans havent had much to play other than Diablo 2. Just like I believe that any true FPS fan could enjoy Haze anyone who enjoyed Diablo could enjoy Too Human, but that doesn't make the game better then it is...or worse.

Well putting this article aside, I really dont see why people are arguing over how horrible it may be. There really is no way to undersatnd how good or bad a game is by reading reviews. Your best bet is to go out and rent it. If you are a fanboy of course, you are within your rights to bash a game on the rival platform so go ahead. But to the people who just enjoy gaming for the sake of gaming, I suggest coughing up a few bucks to play the game for a few days and give it your own review, rather than taking someone elses word for it.

It should end-up with a review around 6.8-7.2 / 10 -- about Average.

Technically, both games received mixed or average reviews and the user reviews are exactly the same. Therefore, yes, Too Human is another Haze.

Maybe they were reading forums and such, and happened to come across one of the many, many people who called this game the Xbox's Haze. It's a pretty popular term around here. I don't think it's implausible that the reviewer would come across the phrase somewhere, somehow. You guys just need to hop out of whatever fanboy hole you've dug yourself into (sony I'm guessing) and just play the games. I don't understand why one company has to win it all. For bragging rights? Cause if that's the only reason, then that's a terrible reason. It seems as though if you want the console that sells more to win, then you should just buy a Wii. I wasn't really hoping for this game to be all that great, but it sure did play great in the demo. Not every game is a winner! Just play the games that appeal to you, since it's your money. If people want to say that it's better than Halo3/MGS4, then let them. Maybe for them those two games (really high achievements in their respective categories) just didn't appeal to them. And I think people take the ratings systems too serious. It's a way reviewers can summarize their own opinions on the games many aspects. But it'll always be just THEIR opinion. You should always form one of your own.
