Halo Wars out first half of 2009

Videogamer reports that a fact sheet included with the E3 2008 assets for Microsoft's line-up has revealed a significant release delay for the Xbox 360 exclusive RTS, Halo Wars.

The game had been expected to form part of Microsoft's autumn/winter line-up, but will now be released in the first half of 2009. No reason for the delay has been given.

However, Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Wars will feature multiplayer online skirmishes supporting up to 6 players with the New Xbox Experience.
