1UP: Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions Colonies Edition Review

First, the bad news: Colonies is incompatible with the original game's save files. This doesn't pose a problem to Lost Planet newcomers, but for vets, it's irritating -- half of the fun came from racking up all those Achievements and saving your hard-earned online multiplayer rank. On the upside, Capcom added dozens of new Achievements to make the game worth playing through again (if Achievements are your thing) as well as new playable characters and multiplayer modes.
