Some astute television watchers have discovered tantalizing clues about possible future downloadable Rock Band tracks.
According to posters on the official Rock Band and ScoreHero.com forums, an ad for the upcoming MTV2 Rock Band track pack -- which includes songs by Maximo Park, Them Terribles, The Materials and The Myriad – showed glimpses of placeholder track names for four unannounced tracks.
"Aesthetics of Hate" by Machine Head, "Afterlife" by Avenged Sevenfold, "Breed" by Nirvana and "Burn" by Nine Inch Nails are apparently in the Rock Band queue.
IGN contacted Rock Band reps for official comment on the alleged TV leak, and got this response:
"As always Harmonix is dedicated to weekly DLC and has many songs in the works. No songs should be considered final or 'real' until they are announced officially through the forums, which happens every Friday at 2pm."
