Edge Preview: Darksiders: Wrath Of War

Edge writes: "A new entry in the legendary pantheon of games that look great but have rubbish names.

If you were looking around for a videogame plot, there are worse places to settle than Revelations: 'Power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the Earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword'. That pretty much has every base covered for a thirdperson hack 'n' slash, and it's the starting point for Vigil's Darksiders: Wrath Of War – set in the aftermath of the apocalypse and casting you as one of the four horsemen, albeit one who lost all of his powers after taking a beating at the hands of the demon Abbadon."
