Jolt reviews Iron Man

Jolt reports:
''If recent media chatter is to be believed, there's a great fear within the studios of Hollywood that their big-budget action movies may about to be superseded by the wares of videogames developers. What was regarded as nothing more than a niche market little over a decade ago has grown into a behemoth, with analysts predicting that Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV will outpace the year's biggest movie – Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – by a comfortable margin.

You may question, then, just what Sega's Iron Man tie-in has to do with the complexities of the entertainment market. As far as raw 'entertainment' goes, Iron Man barely registers, but its position as a film-to-videogame crossover is an interesting one. At a time when games are proving more popular than movies, just why can't one of the industry's oldest and most respected publishers make a decent game based on a movie?''
