A few years ago Konami was quite the innovator of music games, with titles like GuitarFreaks and DrumMania. However, other than a few scattered releases, the games have remained exclusive to Japan. Despite the release of numerous PS2 ports of the two games, Konami apparently didn't feel that those title would sell well in the U.S. The recent success of Guitar Hero and especially Rock Band must have changed the company's mind, as Konami has just announced Rock Revolution.
