I hated how in the first GoW only one gun (chainsaw gun) would do executions. So through most of the game I would only use ONE gun, everything else was boring.

so much gears hate by fanboys, they are taking what made the original great and improving it with enchanced graphics, more gameplay options and what looks to be a even more kickarse campaign!

it is a sequal right... and thats all sequals do, it worked for god of war, halo, and a bunch of other games... plus im hoping for destructible environtments you can use in multiplayer and SP, they had only a lil bit of that in gears 1 but they got to go all out this time!

BTW KZ2's gameplay wont compare to gears, and ricky that FPS cover stuff has been done before so stop spouting trash (and looks really annoying to me), KZ2 is really pretty (best looking game this gen) but its gameplay isnt above other shooters, deal with it. i mean i liked halo because it was a bit slower pace and all, but after watching KZ2 (even with the sprint option) the guy moves like iron man (when he first came out of the cave suit version I) slow as hell...

anyway gears 2 is looking to be awsome cant wait!!!

First, if your post history is filled with negative crap about 360(Z501), you're not exactly the most creditable source when it comes to telling 360 fans which games they should or should not pay more attention to.

Second, even if your the most extreme 360 fanboy, you don't get to dictate which games 360 owners should be more hyped about.

Lastly, I call him jealous because he knows just like the rest of the world that Gears2 is most 360 owners most anticipated game (not everybody but the majority) so therefore anybody with a brain would expect that it will recieve MORE attention than other 360 exclusives, especially when the game has only recently been shown off (btw looks kick@ss too) but to take that fact and use it to imply we don't care much about the other exclusives is ridiculous....and he said it out of jealousy,( look at his next post on this thread) because he wishes it wasn't as popular as it is to satisfy his agenda....besides many like my self have commented positively on other 360 gaming news, including NG2. capeesh?

Whatever, I don't keep up with every single n4g user's post history, sorry. It just seems to me like you're paranoid, jumping on anyone who posts even a slight jab at any positive 360 news, and its annoying. that crap belongs in the open zone.

I'm a huge ng fan, and I agree with the original post. ng2 will be in my 360 on day one, and will probably be aaa just like the first, but its getting no attention. Yes gow2 will own, and be a goty contender for sure, and will also be a day 1 purchase for me. But its almost a year away. ng2 on the other hand will be here in less than two months, and its a aaa series that deserves more coverage. How you figure that opinion to be sony fanboy jealousy is beyond me since everyone knows ng2 is 360 exclusive also.

Cool stuff, but as in the first GOW curb stomps were more likely to get you killed (in multiplayer) then anything. But that being said few things were as gratyfying as curb stomping your buddy, even if it meant that your head would be popped like a balloon by the other teams sniper once the animation was done. But as far as the actual game goes, the first game was amazing so it's a pretty safe guess to say the second game will be as well.

Gears of War 2 is nothing more than an effortless attempt to cash in more money. It features nothing new and will continue with the same redundant gameplay mechanics. Dark Sniper expects the review scores to be no higher than 7.5 with an average of 73 on Metacritic.

Microslaves will be playing Gears of Bore while Dark Sniper and his Sony Snipers will be enjoying the vastly superior Resistance 2. The fall season will be a great time for those looking to jump out and Play B3YOND.
