IGN: Wits & Wagers Developer Q&A

On Wednesday, Microsoft will release Hidden Path Entertainment's new party game Wits & Wagers for download on Xbox Live Arcade. The digital adaptation of the North Star Games board game mixes traditional trivia and poker-like betting, with a bit of crazy dancing thrown in for good measure.

Hidden Path was co-founded by a group of former Microsoft employees, including Age of Empires II lead designer Mark Terrano, Crimson Skies co-creator Dave McCoy, Xbox Advanced Technology Group member Michael Austin and Xbox 360 third-party developer evangelist Jeff Pobst.

IGN recently talked to Pobst, Hidden Path's CEO, about Wits & Wagers, Xbox Live Arcade's allure for startup developers and the economic statistics of large Asian countries.
