GameTap writes: "Whether you loved it or hated it, 50 Cent: Bulletproof--the original game featuring rapper 50 Cent--sold well enough to warrant a sequel called 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. This third-person shooter is actually based off of the arcade mode from Bulletproof, and as such, will have more over-the-top action. "We got pretty good feedback regarding that mode," says producer Aaron Blean. "We thought that since we have this incredible Unreal tech, why don't we take the visuals up to an incredible level of detail and improve the physics?"
When you start a game in Blood on the Sand, one of the first things you'll do is pick a partner who, not surprisingly, also happens to be a member of G-Unit. Among the selectable characters are Tony Yayo, Llyod Banks, as well as DJ Whookid--all of which will start off with a signature set of weapons. "They're accessible to both 50 Cent and G-Unit," Blean explains. "They're not exclusive to each other, but we wanted to vary the number of weapons they're wielding to give a different gameplay experience." Overall, there will be 20 different weapons in the game, broken down into different classes, so there will be specific sections for pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, RPGs, sniper rifles, and automatics."
