1.1 - Well, yeah, MMOs tend to lend themselves to PC gaming...
....but it sucks for the console gamers who were hoping for this.

I can't wait for this game. I hope its gameplay is as awesome as the concept of the game.

Kind of old news, though. This has been known from more than a year now. I think some people just don't want to accept the truth sometimes.

It's not as much an MMO as it is a large scale multiplayer shooter. It's only 100 people and it has no subscription fees.

APB has gone the same way as Alan Wake, only reversed.

Excellent :)

You do know what the word "initially" means right. There's still a chance for console versions.

Did they even announce a 360 version? I always thought it was PC exclusive and a 360 port was a pipe dream.

5.1 - They haven't confirmed a console port afaik...
According to the apb.com website faq:

Will there be console ports? Or a Linux or Mac client?

We’re evaluating opportunities for a console port of APB but there’s nothing concrete to announce at the moment. There will not be a Linux or Mac version of the game.

I believe PS3 and X360 versions are being looked at, but with so far Sony and Microsoft haven't come up with a solid MMO system for their consoles. As all MMOs proposed to be coming to them are now to release in 2010.

8 - Love APB
Most fun Ive had in the beta

Entered the district and entered a APB they told me to pick up a PDA, I did...turned into a 4 minute game of keep away from A LOT of police (who are actual players btw) lol had to hop fences and run like a little b*tch...and I just started so only had a 6 round pistol lol

Great game and I hope it comes to 360 as well
