Doesn't feel like Max, more like Die Hard 5 - The John McClane Strikes Back.

Plot: The story picks up after Max went to meet Master Yoda to learn the way of the Jedi knight. After finding out he was actually Master Yoda's long lost son and his real name was John Mclane. He was told that his mother(Master Yoda's wife) had been murdered by Master Chief years ago thus John Mcclane was sent to avenge his mother in New Mombasa City...

i think this is pretty risky for R*. to completely change what he looks like from the previous game? fans are probably gonna be pissed. i think it would have been better if they made a game that was transitioning max into this new max. that probably wouldnt have been as controversial but hey R8 knows how to take risks and i admire that. best of luck

Although the new game looks completely off, visually, there may still be that old Max Payne charm. I'll hold off judgment. Although, the style of the original Max Payne was really great, and it would have been cool to see it in next-gen console form, rather than what we're getting now. This reminds of Rambo (4). The setting was different, but Rambo was kickass, so maybe Max Payne 3 will be good too.

I don't mind the change in look ( people change in look in real life ).... As long as they can some how explain/justify the new look somehow with the story in the game.

I like consistency in stories. If something like his look changes so drastically ( It may be just a new direction the dev's are going in ) but they need to incorporate that change into the story. If not I think it does ruin the game.

I am still looking forward to this game. the first Max payne was one of the best games on the old xbox. I hope they don't mess it up.
