Advent Rising Trilogy would be made if it's up to the creator

Advent Rising sequels 2 and 3 would be created to complete the trilogy if it was up to Donald Mustard, the designer of the original Advent Rising and now the chairman of Chair Entertainment (of Shadow Complex fame).

I remember preferring this to Halo2 to at the time

The Xbox version was not at all polished in a lot of areas but the whole thing felt awesome all the same

A tragic shame when i found out there was to be no sequels to this wonderful game

Maybe one day and if that is the case, please let it be Chair that handles more of the same greatness

While I absolutely loved this game, there were some spots that had terrible bugs. There was one point where you had to clear a room of enemies before the elevator would come down, but after clearing the room nothing happened. Reloaded the save and went through that difficult 10 minute battle. Nothing happened. Went online and found out that there was a bug that caused the elevator to SOMETIMES not come down. Luckily I got to go up the third time, but that was unacceptable.

Regardless of the bugs in the first game, I hope they continue or revitalize the series in the future. Still irks me that I don't know what happens after he appears in the snowy wasteland.

Just finished watching District 9 and it was one best put together movies i have seen this year. If this Blumkamp fellow is one that was suppose to do the HALO movie then bring it on.

BTW was I the only one that noticed the Halo movie hint at the end of the movie? When guy show a picture of his wife and says this is my angel look at her, she looks like an angel with a HALO. The reason that stood out was because it was kinda tacted on to the end of the movie.

2.1 - Dude.
Did you seriously miss the umm, . . . friggin' sniper rifle the military was using at the end of the movie? It was almost IDENTICAL to the Halo Sniper rifle. Seriously,. . . Awesome!

BTW - Keep on topic.

This is the game i was thinking about a few days ago. I remember playing it on pc but could not remember the name. I would definitely recommend this game. Great story, graphics are a little dated but all powers they give you are great. Really sucks that there will be no trilogy soon. I was just thinking " I wonder if that games sequels have come out" Sadly its still a no. :(

If they hadn't made such a mess of the first, built it up so much, they probably would have.

But then that MS's and this guys fault.

5.1 - Agree.
I could easily play through that first story with graphics on par with Mass Effect. It would look alot like M.E. though.

I had this game on the xbox... though it was marred by technical problems (the framerate was GOD awful at times)... I loved the story and artstyle and all of the action.
