Neocrisis: Killzone 2 logo inspired by Bungie?

Neocrisis: A few days ago we reported that Norwegian postal service seems to have copied the Killzone 2 logo. However it was come to our attention that Killzone 2 may have gotten inspiration from Bungie. The original logo was published in 1997, many years before Killzone 2 was even in development. to get hits they made it sound as if the ACTUAL killzone 2 logo was in question, in fact meerly the ONE OF MANY CLAN LOGO's were in question.

The same is here........they are even talking about the SAME OPTIONAL CLAN LOGO...........and trying to get MORE hits.

so sad when the ONLY thing you can do to take away from such a magnificent game is an OPTIONAL CLAN LOGO.......ridiculous.

Seriously? You really believe they ripped it off?

It's one of the most simplistic logos ever. Plus it looks more like a pokeball than anything else. It could have been inspired by any number of things.

I really don't think Halo had anything to do with it. I could believe the death star had something to do with it (ISA had a defense satellite in the 1st game, so it could be some weird tip of the hat), but I really don't think Guerilla would look to rip anything off of Halo.

Eh, it's pretty dang hard to "copy" Bungie when they don't really have anything original of their own to offer. That's just common sense.

And as far as the logo goes.....really? I don't see any resemblance. This is like that LBP article last week that claimed Sony "copied" a user's costume idea simply because both costumes used a shark in it. Lame. I might as well claim that Halo 3 copied the bubble shield from Resistance: Fall of Man.

They should put you under glass and study you. How do you walk upright? There have been numerous previews by reputable sites and publications and all of them have been blown out of the water by KZ2. Yet you find one half-assed grainy sideways video on Youtube and it's doom, doom on us all.

Halo is the most overhyped game this gen.

Actually if you had any brains and not a cell you would know that RARE created those "Mii Rip Offs" Long before The Wii even existed. It was finished 3 months before the 360 was released to retail in the United States . But They decided to not implement it until it was necessary due to the fact of the console just launching. So, They decided to implement it in a much later update. I can easily say the same for the PS3's "Second Life Rip Off." So don't bullsh!t yourself.

But of course when Second Life came out it was not delayed constantly..

Also, I love the hypocrisy of some Xbots. When they claim a game to be 360 exclusive, and people say it's also on PC, they say "it doesn't count" or "it's a console exclusive". But they sure do love to compare Home, a console first and only available on consoles to Second Life, only available on the PC. When they aren't even the same thing. Similar, yes. The same, no.
