Nintendo sells its own software, 3rd parties need not apply. The only reasons to buy Nintendo at this point is more Mario & Zelda - and Im happy to try new things.

Perhaps if Nintendo gets back into the hardware business, i'd be interested, but Gamecube 1.5 with a new controller? No thanks.

hating will not help whatever other garbage system you bought cause you can see sweat on character faces.... you havent bought the wii and its still number one so your opinion is not really needed my friend... codemasters need to concentrate on making good games... they must be blind to not see the numbers showing how the wii is crushing the competition.. innovation is where its at

you might want to read and state actual facts instead of rumbling on about nonsense.. guitar hero for wii is a million seller, resident evil sells well, carnival games, mario and sonic at the olympic games and many more.. learn to make sense and state facts next time. hater

As I sit there playing Mario Galaxy currently and while the game is fun, I keep thinking to myself..

sheesh, I've been a Nintendo supporter for fricken years, I've owned all their consoles but something is missing..Am I getting too old? Am I playing the same thing over and over with just new characters, let me not go into graphics.

I know Nintendo is not about Graphics and never been but somehow, like "coc@roaches" over the years, through rough climate changes (Sony, MS, SEGA) they have survived nuclear wars and yet still making money. All I can say is Nintendo has a "Formula" that they do not deviate far from. Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with "whos got the biggest D!ck". I stopped questioning it...

But I can't imagine how some of my beloved franchises on nintendo would look like in Next-Gen, I'll just continue to Dream maybe one day, but Naaaw, Nintendo is not about "Realism", that's just not the "Formula" for their success.

Nintendo is profitable, so every 3 years, a new console is great for them, hey look at their handhelds..It took years to add Color to a Gameboy but did it matter? Ok waiting for Super Smash Bros..while dreaming about "LINK" looking like God of War.

Right. Nintendo's that banal and obvious with the money grubbery. What do you know, old fart?

If you actually look at the pattern, you can predict that when Wii sales get sluggish, Nintendo will start releasing the Wii in new colors, and sail smooth for years on that alone.

With games as good as the (really good) ones out there, there's little actual need for an upgrade in hardware. The tools are right there -- game developers just need to use them instead of clamoring for a more powerful system.

3rd parties shouldn't complain about poor sales when their games are subpar.

Of course there are exceptions like Resident Evil 4 which sold over 1 million. Gee, a third party game sold well on a Nintendo platform, how did that happen? Maybe because Resident Evil 4 is an awesome game. 3rd parties should take notes.

resident evil 4 was being advertised. i saw the advert many times on channel 4. i have yet to see a zack and wiki advert. if they don't promote the game, they should expect it to fail.

...and a quick replacement of wii by a wii 2? the guy must be insane. some people under-estimate the wii so much.
