Wii Fit launches in Japan, huge queues form

A gamer has provided shots from the Yodobashi Kichijoji at about 9:30am yesterday when Wii Fit officially went on sale in Japan. In front of him and behind him there were massive queues for the product which indicates Nintendo has another winner on their hands.

I want to see a comparison of how long the line was for galaxy vs wiifit. If I had a Wii now I would get Wiifit and Galaxy together. I rather have Wiifit over zelda, metroid, paper mario, because those games are too similiar to games i played on the Gamecube.

but nothing is better than the true exercises!!
for men the best is running swimming and body building.
for women the best is anything that make their body moves a lot and makes them sweat. like aerobic running also is good.

you run barefooted and naked. I run and I needed some good shoes to do it in and they set me back 100 USD. Don't forget some socks, shorts, shirt, and a jock strap so that your junk isn't flailing all over the place. :)

I understand the fascination with Wii fit b/c people sometimes need motivation to exercise which is why they join fitness clubs. I get bored running by myself sometimes. My wife gets bored with her exercise DVD's as well. To date, she has bought close to 40 exercise DVD's costing anywhere from $10 to $20. I could have bought Wii fitness 5 to 10 times over with all that cash.

just increase the lead the wii has over the other systems in japan. You can make fun all you want but over there they are into the strange and unusual when it comes to gaming gadgets. I predict it will help sell another 100,000 wii's for next weeks numbers.

edit: that is if there are wii's to be sold, given the supply issues.

Making excersize fun is big business, and has been for a long time. Whle I worry that eventually, Nintendo may put alot more money into this sort of product than the games I enjoy most, I don't blame them. By the way, I'm a Wii owner, and I love it, and will probably buy Wii fit, but this video... As Larry the Cable guy would say: "I don't care who you are. That's funny." :D
