this game could be ruined as a remake. However, most of the people on this site are kids, and have never played this classic title, so a remake would be great for them.

Link to the Past is also my favorite Zelda game. That and Ocarina of Time are pretty much tied for first. I am pretty confident that if Nintendo was doing a remake that Miyamoto would be heavily involved in the project, and it would more than likely be excellent.

I'd rather they make a conclusion to the whole Wind Waker story or a game that helps to explain how Twilight Princess ties into the Legend of Zelda chronology.

I wish they would remake the original zelda in the same way they did final fantasy for the psp, Id love to see it with updated sprites and maybe a few extras added in

11 - LTTP is my favorite Zelda

I don't want them to remake it. Maybe if they did like Capcom and remake it in HD without changing anything else, but nothing more. Pretty much all of the newest major Zeldas after LTTP have been Link to the Past remakes with better graphics but really no change in its formula.

Four swords for the gamecube was pretty much LTTP, but with updated GFX, and different story ofcourse.

they already have the sprites and environment gfx, if they want to make a 2d remake i dont think it will take them long.

Personally, Link to the Past is my most favorite LoZ of ALL TIME.
No, it is my most favorite GAME of ALL TIME.
No that doesn't do it justice either!
It is a masterpiece in video game history.
Is it the epitome of video game brilliance!
LttP is often imitated but never replicated.
I still feel a sense of awe everytime I play it even though I've replayed it for years.
Get it right Nintendo!

Funny! because i talked about it with a class mate, and we both hated the controll schemes on n64 ( PS1 had it too right?).
