Medal of Honor Is Best Wii FPS To Date

According to a review put out by Matt over at IGN, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is the best FPS yet on the Wii as it tops Metroid Prime 3 easily.

Matt stated that Medal of Honor Heroes 2 beats up on Metroid Prime 3 in every way as the game has far superior game play and other elements.

Lack of depth, horrible graphics, railgun shooter has one weapon/no grenades, they compared this game to call of duty wii, and vanguard graphically. Gives me doubt that this game can be any good. But I guess we'll wait and see.

5.2 - I doubt the medal of honors 2 will have

a better SP then mp3. So the rail shooter, and online are the only things that make it better then mp3. I don't think this game will get high scores.

Lack of depth? Horrible Graphics? It looks ALOT better than anything from XBOX, that's for sure. Rail gun shooter? Only in one particular mode that they made for newer players to try before they try the CAMPAIGN mode (Which you should research). One weapon? Wrong. Many weapons of much diversity exist in this game. No grenades? Wrong. Not only are there grenades, but you throw them with a throwing motion with the Wii remote. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about in that post. If you really are a Wii owner and not just some hater, I'm happy for you, because all of this information that you previously didn't have must make you pretty happy about this game all of a sudden. :P

I'm sorry, but even from the underpowered Wii I expect a slight bump in the graphical department... I've already got a PS2 if I want to play games like this. It's kind of embarassing. I'll play MP3 any day over this game.

Before I made a comment that Medal of Honor games suck... I decided to at least give it the time of day and look at a video and I'm kind of impressed. This game is one of the better looking titles on the Wii to say the least and it actually looks like the gimmicky controller might add to this experience. I have a Wii and 360 at the moment (saving for a PS3 too) and this will bring my Wii out of hiding. Just got to dust it off and plug it in. I'm actually kind of excited.

Just sucks that I have to use health packs. I haven't played a game like that in a longggggg time and I never wanted to go back.

9.2 - Half Life 2 series in the Orange Box still uses........

health packs so what is wrong with Medal of Honor Heroes 2 using it? Using health packs is more realistic than bending down for regeneration in many games today. The only reason why Halo used regeneration cause Master chief's suit has the ability to do so, while other games like Call of Duty made it unrealistic.

NGG-nice picture comparison. Sometimes I think Wii players think graphics are next gen. cuz they have only bought Nintendo systems. That picture definitely shows a major difference in graphics and I thought MOH3 was actually pretty lame in the next gen/graphics department on the 360 so that definitely speaks volumes for the PS3 and 360.

The guy must be crazy. In all of the previews and hands-ons of MOH Heroes 2 on Wii, most said it's a good game but not great and Metroid P3 was awarded the best FPS control award by many writers even though most of them had tried MOH H2 on E3 and GDC.

14 - A different time period.

Back when most said that this game was good but not great, they had only been allowed to play the "Arcade" version. This was back in August I believe. Having reviewed the full game now, I'm not surprised at all that such a thing would be said. The difference between the Arcade mode and Campaign mode are night and day. Oh well, the world can decide for itself pretty soon. In the end, regardless of whether it is better than MP3, or equal, with a 32 player online version, this game is going to be a hit for Nintendo.

I did read something about the controls for this game being far more customizable than MP3.

For example, in MP3 your view will pan once your pointer gets within a certain proximity to the side of the screen. In MOH2, you can apparently customize this proximity with an imaginary screen-centered resizable bounding box so that your view only pans once your pointer leaves that bounding box. If you make the box small, your screen will pan more often as you move the pointer around the screen.

Hopefully I'm explaining this well lol... still trying to wake up.

Well seems like EA is starting to get use to the Wii. After shifting focus to it they had a few muck ups but glad they are getting there ducks in a row now ^^

So the game is shaping up nicely the next hurdle is hoping the 32 online battles work out well. I'm not a big online gamer but it's still nice to pop in there and take a look around.
