for a come back. Now I don't think it will sell systems like the Wii but I will get it so I can use it with Burnout Paradise and so I can video chat online. And I had the Wii along time ago. I used to have to swing my remote at my TV when the batteries were dying. Got old quick.

I dont know, but if I were a wii owner and looked at the upcoming games from like EB games and Gamestop website, I would shake my head, I dont know what people see when they look at this list compared to the other 2 consoles, I mean even the names for wii games sound boring. Like I said before I would rather stick with the DS than the Wii, the Wii is pretty much a DS but with a motion sensing remote.

This guy is way off base.

The difference with the Wii and the Eye-toy is that for one, the Eye-toy wasn't shipped with every PS2 sold, and therefore there were only a small number of games that actually used it.

The Wii is a CONSOLE... therefore EVERY game uses it. Comparing an accessory to a console is just plain dumb.

Now if he wants to compare the Wii-Zapper, Wii-Wheel, or Wii-Balance Board to the Eye-toy, then I may agree with him, but as I said... the guy is WAY off base.

everyone said this about the DS oh the novelty of the touch screen will ware off and everyone will buy the more powerful PSP because it much cooler.
one of the main reasons the DS sold apart from all the besoke games you couldn't experience anywhere else was message coming from nintendo was anyone can play the DS it's as easy as writing and it's the same with the wii.

The people I talk to at work who don't play game are thinking of getting wii's because they think it looks easy 'you just swing it like a golf club' and this is why the wii will allways sell

The Wii doesn't have legs! Nintendo is doing in this generation what they do with the last two generations... They give us this shiny new console that is suppose to do this and that, then show us the games that sucker us into buying the console, then they promise all these great games are coming out, and then we play the "Hope and Wait game" for a few years!

I bought a Wii for the same reason everyone else bought one... It launched with Zelda, and had a few more games I wanted to try! But after buying the system in february 2007, I didn't take it out of the box until may 2007, I played Wii sports for a couple weeks, my wife bought Big Brain Academy, and I feel like the games for the Wii are overpriced for what i'll get in return!

I've rented a few games to try them out... but I am not impressed by alot of them. I was a real Nintendo fan, I grew up playing Mario, Zelda, and Metroid! But for some reason I can't make myself buy these games yet! I feel like they should be $20 games. Mario and Zelda haven't released yet and I already feel that way about them!

I feel people are eventually going to get past the novelty of the mini-games and start looking for something with more substance... and that's when the Wii will face it's fate!

I know, Metroid is coming, I know Mario is coming, I even know they are working on the new Zelda. But Metroid for GC wasn't that great(I bought both, and never felt like playing them). Mario for GC was good but I never felt like playing it much either. In all honesty, I think the Nintendo franchises are getting tired. Mainly because no one really talks about them anymore.

The last time I had a conversation with someone about a Nintendo game... It was about Zelda Ocarina of Time! It feels like almost no one cares about nintendo, other than this new wand waving fad!
