Ubisoft has gone into a frenzy of organisation and stamped release dates on all of its key upcoming titles...

September:
* Dark Messiah: Elements - 7th September (Xbox 360)
* Settlers VI - 7th September (PC)
* Brothers In Arms: Double Time - 21st September (Wii)

October:
* Naruto: Rise of a Ninja - 19th October (Xbox 360)

November:
* Assassin's Creed - 9th November (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

is definately impressive. Worth noting is that it lists Haze as a simultaneous multiplatform release. I have also seen another article which has the same listing.

1.2 - Error in the summary

If you click the link you will see that it has Haze coming out 7 days earlier on the ps3 than the xbox 360/pc while in the summary they have a simultaneous launch...

thought i'd point that out.

Simultaneous launch for all the systems. Look at system launches....they say world wide simultaneous launch with a window of like 1 1/2 months ....so 7 days...that will not make any kind of difference. Nice to see Haze launching this year for all systems.

All I know for sure though...is come November...I am going to be broke.

4.1 - its not that stupid...

its in november, close to black friday... they want to have as many AAA games on the shelf as possible for that day... plus, the games cater to different audiences... one is a tried and true WWII FPS.. the other is an active stealth game.

On a side note... The "timed" exclusive for Haze looks to be 7 days... which won't make a huge difference in sales between the platforms. The only thing that might make a difference is how eager the respective platforms are for that game.

6 - Time exclusive?

Timed exclusives are normally minimum 6months, not 7 days...

Well it will be very interesting to see if there are any differences between the PS3 and 360 versions of this game.

Although I am sure there will be many gamers too busy on HALO 3 and maybe Unreal Tournament - well for 360 gamers anyways.

I think perhaps the biggest titles for the PS3 this year is probably UT3 and Haze?

Haze is wrong for the 360. It said a couple weeks back that the timed exclusive for PS3 was confirmed and that causes 360 to be coming out late next year. It was confirmed by one of the Ubisoft developers.

Even if somehow Haze were to come a week later it will probably suck compared to the PS3 version. That's why it was announced a timed exclusive for the PS3 because they've already had a big head start on the PS3 version compared to the 360 version they said.

Medal of Honor: Airborne
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Guitar Hero III (can't decide whether to get just Rock Band or this too)

Little Big Planet

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Heavenly Sword (maybe because all I've seen was trailer which didn't really impress me much as it did others I know)
Still some rumors of Crysis to PS3. I'd say less than 50% chance, but if so definitely. Haze is sort of similar and can make up for this anyway.
Still way more with dates to be announced like The Agency, Fracture, etc.

I'm supposed to be saving money from my job, but if I need important stuff that money is gone.

If there's any big ones I missed because of the overwhelmingly big amount of huge games let me know.

These are the kind of things that will make the PS3 explode, literally, with fire, loud bangs, and don't forget blood and guts.

eurogamer is a very respected website, if they say ubisoft gave them the schedule i'd be inclined to agree. And unless you provide a link all I remember them saying is that the ps3 version was the lead version and they simply couldn't confirm a fall 2007 release for the 360 version at that time... looks like they can now.

I don't remember any article saying that it would be late 2008.

Was that list really necessary?

Why do you think Haze for the PS3 will be so much better than the 360 version? You seem like a huge Haze fan (looking at your avatar). I hope it wasn't Haze that justified your PS3 purchase (out of the myriad of quality PS3 titles coming later this year), only for you to now realize that the PS3 version will only come 7 days sooner rather than months as previously suggested. Are you in denial something?

This is Ubi we're talking about. They're not going to make one version significantly better than the other. Besides, multi-platform games on the PS3 are only better when they're released many months later than the 360 version (Oblivian, Fight Night 3)and even then not by very much and definitely not by enough to justify the wait between versions. And you're honestly expecting a game that has a near simultaneous release on both platforms to be much better on the PS3?
