1.1 - Nothing really shocks me with celebs these days
but this was the exception. One girl, okay. 2....wow. But Tiger was setting records. At this point it's probably easier to just release a story saying who hasn't been with him. It'll be interesting to see if he can come back from this on the golf course and in the public eye.

I'm glad to see that Tiger isn't as squeaky clean as he always portrayed himself to be. He's just a huge ass*ole skumbag like the rest of us.....except with 1/2 billion dollars.

ya it does make me laugh...

just goes to show. when your in such a position you always want people on the outside to see the image of you they already have in their heads, while deep down you know your just a regular as most of them, just your blessed with lots of dow.

he is a guy, and in his position and the amount of money he has, how many of us can say we would not pull off the same stuff behind closed doors.

what i find funny now is all the women coming out the woodworks now to say he has done all this... why are they only bringing this up now.
guess it's time to cash in for them. they knew their dirty little secrets were little investments accumulating interest.

I hope he gets through it ok and does work it out with his wife.... if not it's going to be one hell of a divorce payout !

What amazes me , is how american folks cares about this ... it's basically puritanism to a new level ...

So because he is a gifted sportsman and public figures , he was supposed to be a saint ?

And woods himself ... i know he got direct financial reasons and Pr crap to do so , but he shouldnt even feel the need to explain himself or to respond in any way ... negative or not .

Yes because as everybody knows, no other country enjoys a little scandal once in a while... Shut up.

People care because he portrayed himself as a clean cut golfer with a spotless image and as we all know now, that was a rous and completely false.

exactly. Anytime a guy makes himself look hypocrtical (e.g. Bill O'Reilly), America eats it up. Now if it's a guy that's already known to have a thing for the ladies (like Derek Jeter), the story wouldn't be as huge. It's just that this guy's image was insanely polished. Stanford grad, mannerable and quiet, a philanthropist, and, seemingly, a family man. Then all the dirty laundry comes out and it's like a made for TV movie. Oh and unlike puritan socieitys, America is very forgiving with these guys. Kobe Bryant being case in point here.

@Guido

Sex scandals , messy divorces , false or true charges against public figures are everywhere and it makes everyone gossip , so you kinda missed my point.

Of course there will be again gossips and offended people ... but i doubt i'd see most of those guy go on publicly apologising like Tiger woods did , if it happened in some places of Europe or the rest of the world .

When your president got a secret daughter stashed somewhere followed by the scandal exploding , and he doesnt apologizes , or resign , and pretty much let noise die out (though of course he did everything to hide it for as long as he could) , maybe you'll get where i'm going with this .

Meanwhile right at the same period , in USA ,Clinton was on trial for the rather minor (and quite injustified) Lewinsky affair .

I'm all for higher moral and clean public figures , but some cases are going way too overboard , and a blatant example of , dare i say again , silly and fake puritanism .

All of those guys cheating make them scumbags indeed ... but not less talented in the fields that made them popular to begin with

1.11 - If the games not about...
...a rich black guy marrying a poor white woman and losing a chunk of money because he cheats on her non working @$$ but she has a baby by him first to keep a paycheck every month then I don't want to play it.

I'll save my money for ice cream sandwiches and apple juice. I don't drink or smoke so I have to have some vices :/

Does this discount really have anything to do with the affair? Maybe, I can see parents who might have once purchased the title for their kids taking a pass on Tiger's game now but, would a discounted price really be enough to control the damage?

I'd guess it might be a temporary price drop on Amazon's part, until the controversy blows over, but can't imagine they're actually trying to liquidate their stock for the long-run or anything.

Tiger Woods titles aren't going anywhere. What other golfer could they really tap to put on the cover of those games that has the same global appeal?

A drink is one thing, but a multi-million dollar sports game series is a bit harder to drop.

5 - The Other Shoe Always Drops...
...no matter what your income or fame. It amazes me that those that profit from public exposure (endorsements, politics, sports, etc.) feel they are exempt from having their poor behavior (immoral, illegal & what not) 'outted' - as if they are 'above' being caught. If anything, these types have far more to lose than those of us lower on the food chain. While Tiger is a superb golfer, his lack of judgement not only hurt his image, but also his family. The wife has bare the brunt of humiliation as woman after woman steps forward making claims of having been involved with her husband. I heard that a post-nup has been drawn up, so if he chooses to make more 'poor decisions', his wife will certainly be able to cry all the way to the bank.

I wouldnt defend the guy , but that's a bit too easy to proclaim as well .

The same mistake is being made all over again ... people thought tiger squeaky clean , and now they assume automatically that the mrs is the poor wronged loyal wife .

She might indeed be , and in that case it's sad ... but this affair proves that not many actually knows what goes on in their life , and how true they might be to their public image .

Well in case Hnery's case it's quite some BS on so many level ...

The first one being him getting punished, or likely to be , while the referee walks free .

The second being that they all make fouls , and many of them used their hands , on purpose or by accident , including when Ireland's own Robbie Keane (hell even in the same match actually) is guilty of that as well .

At last the fact that the wronged ireland team shouldnt have been there to begin with , and ended up with some bad reflux of karma . They stole the match against Georgia that got them that far , no actually robbie keane did .

Georgia didnt get a rematch neither , so why should they ?
