the first time I watched the Spike VGA's that it should have been renamed the 360 awards show. Seriously, it was appalling.

I've been put off by the VGAs and how they promote gamers as edgy a-holes. I forget, don't they have the "Fueled by Dew" award?

Most gamers are level-headed. I'd say most gamers watching the VGAs also didn't agree with the way they blatantly objectified women. Add those horrible decisions to the joke-like awards they made, and the constant and in-your-face advertising and awful choices for musical acts and comedians.

I've never thought that the people in charge of this ceremony actually respect the industry or the medium. It makes me wish that another, more sensible, organization made an awards show each year to compete with it.

You are Link. That is why he doesnt have a voice. Also having played most Zelda games, they are doing exactly what you ask for with every game while keeping the basic concept the same. We always get new enemies and new gadgets to use with each game.

IMO I see no reason to fix what isnt broken.

i'm talking about a new main enemy someone other than ganon also the story unfolds the same way every time 1.link's coming of age then gets green clothes 2.you find master sword 3.go to save zelda 4. fight ganon its the same stuff just with a new gimmick thrown in like turning into a wolf or controlling the wind. yes you play as link he still is dull and boring i play as drake in UC2 and like the character because he has a personality. and what i meant with new weapons a new main sword or give the master sword new abilities. legend of zelda is being ruined by nintendo they limited it so badly by saying all the princesses will be named zelda and all the boys will have green tights. if it was up to me i would have it set during the hyrule war be cinematic like heavenly sword or lord of the rings with large battles, epic music, amazing voice acting and i would not design zelda and link the same as they are in past games since they're not the same people i would keep the gameplay the same only in an open world.

It's a topic that I am always interested in talking about, and I genuinely think that the next Zelda game is going to be "different" (in quotes because I hope that's in a good way).

With Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M happening next year, plus rumors of the next Zelda being pushed back to 2011 anyways, this is exactly what I think will happen.

There are plenty of indicators regarding Nintendo working on their next console, and there's no way it'll launch later than 2011, lining it up perfectly with the next Zelda (which the team says will have great graphics. I wonder why?)

Pretty insane if that was to be the case. But I too highly doubt it. nor should they rush Zelda..or any of the games in the pipeline.

You know, I have this sinking feeling that even IF this were to take place with all of these games being released say every 2 months. Some how Nintendo would still be shunned and criticised for something. Every one crying for Zelda would start talking about "all Nintendo makes is Zelda" or some other talking point.

The VGA's are a joke.
