5 Best Wii Games for Under Twenty Dollars

The explosive popularity of the Nintendo Wii has led to an inevitable deluge of crappy shovelware titles that claim to be fun uses of the Wii's unique features but ultimately turn out to be nothing but vapid attempts at cashing in on the system's success. Because of this malignant multitude, it can be difficult for a value-conscious gamer to find budget games that are worth playing.

Fortunately, there are a few quality low-cost Wii gems out there to be found, gamers just need a filter to avoid the large number of crappy games out there.

Wow, wasn't expecting much from this guide, but the guy absolutely NAILED it!

All are fantastic games. I'm very happy about the inclusion of Mercury Meltdown Revolution and Geoemtry Wars: Galaxies.

Agreed. That is a really spot on article. Lists like this are tough to do, but the writer did an excellent job.

Nice to see Zack & Wiki on the list. I know it wasn't everyone's favorite, but the old-school point-and-click adventure gamer inside me couldn't get enough of it.

You can buy No More Heroes for $20 now (heck, isn't in bundled with the original Red Steel now?), and it definitely belongs on that list. Problem is, I'm not sure what game to take out to make room.

That is always the challenge with lists like this. The next 5 left off are usually pretty good choices as well.

No More Heroes is another good one. Guess it just comes down to personal preference. Not everyone is going to like Mercury, but they might want to check out No More Heroes, for sure.

There's plenty of good deals in HMV right now(there's a sale on). I saw Dragon Quest Sword for £12, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for £17, No More Heroes and House of the Dead 2 and 3 were both in a two for £30 deal.

Direct2Drive has a lot of titles available for $5 as well which is just insane.
