Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition looks great in 720p

Back in March, a YouTube user posted a few videos of Wii games running in 720p. This was done using a Wii PC emulator called Dolphin. And most recently, photos of Super Mario Galaxy in 720p surfaced. Now, using the Dolphin emulator once again, screenshots of Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition have been taken.

No. Upscaling sucks. Upscaling is when you render at a lower resolution, then STRETCH the size of the rendered images until they fill the upper resolution's pixels.

This isn't upscaling to 720p, it's RENDERING NATIVELY at 720p.

This game already looks pretty good in 480p. At 720p, the jagged edges are nowhere to be seen and the models look much better. All of that with no increase in polygons count. I can see how a modest Wii graphic card upgrade could do great things in the overall quality of the games and I can even buy some analysts predictions that Nintendo will release a Wii Plus version of the console with hd graphics.
