Nintendo created playstation by MISTAKE.
it was the most stupid mistake nintendo made and lost therfore 2 generations long!

Sony didnt created playstation to destroy nintendo, Ken did not had a choice at that moment he and sony( well he was working for sony) started working alone and there was the PS1.
like nintendo did good with the nes/SNES they did good with the PS1.

Nintendo also has the hardware department so Ken would fit easy in there....
and the GCN was a mighty piece of hardware...stronger then kens PS2. Nintendo always had concerns about loading times, therfore they always make hardware that is stable and works efficient together.( yess there are people with a broken Wii but thats just with every hardware...thats new and fresh from the factory)

so yess they dont have HD, but it doesnt mean there hardware SUCKS.

Kutaragi blew through cash like a drunken sailor on leave developing the PS3 which has left Sony with a console that is next to impossible to sell, while Nintendo's firm grip on what's practical over what's possible has left them with a console they can't make fast enough. Honestly, Kutaragi's lack of retraint would hardly be a good fit at Nintendo & IMO they're just being polite & respectful.

First of, they are being polite. No smearing and kicking a guy when he is falling a bit.
Secondly - the Wii must get a follow up, and will inevitably be more powerful than the PS3, less than the PS4. Why go through all the problems when Ken was there, made the good and bad decisions. It is called experience. You don't get experience by not making mistakes. Much of the intellectual property is about who makes what, who to talk to in what company, knowing who is who in the zoo. Ken's been there, done it. Mistakes and all, you don't get that experience behind every rock. Simple as that. Anyone busy designing the next nexgen machine would like Ken on their team, MS, Sony, Ninty, all. Warts and all.
Thirdly 10: No, Hideo Kojima is a product director / software guy, not a hardware techie. He can produce / design titles / software, does not mean he is doing the coding, let alone chip design.
Nintendo is a great company, but I doubt Ken would go there. There would be too much NDA's signed with Sony, and I guess he is a loyal kind of guy. Don't see him move from Sony. He will know where his strengths is, where his weaknesses are and he will deal with it. He is a big boy. The little monkeys jumping up and down screaming for blood as long as it is not theirs will not bother him - nor the fan boy tug-of-war on the net.

it will revolt nintendo completely, nintendo innovation + future tech Idea ... it will bomb sony... if this is going to happen... well I'm looking forward to see Playstation and Nintendo work together though...
merge company is a bit popular recently, bandainamco is one of them ... autodesk and alias, adobe and macromedia, and some more ...
