iTWire writes: "Some time back I copped a little bit of flak suggesting that Nintendo did not sell the Wii, but in fact sold Wii Sports , and probably with some good reason.

The combination of price, innovative control mechanism and light Wii Sports experience pulls all the right synapses in place to make modern man reach into their wallets. It was more than simply the brilliance of Wii Sports. Still, Wii Sports was a significant part of that combo."
