Actually it's not that impressive. Let's not forget the huge install base the Wii has. But I won't doubt the legs this game will have. I expect it to sell probably more than 3 million by the end of the year.

Those sales prove that if 3rd parties put in some work, the sales are out there. Sega published HotD:Overkill, MadWorld and Conduit. The first two have been moderate hits, and Conduit may top them both. The cream rises to the top. No More Heroes did enough retail to earn a sequel.

Actually it does. The golf game along is better than tiger woods from what I'm hearing. The table tennis is better than grand slam so I don't know it seems you are letting graphics fool you.

So far the sword fighting in this game is way more 1:1 than red steel 2 even. It may not have the graphics to say cool but it is a better game if we are talking about game play and controls and we are talking about games right and not ummm movies, animation shorts, 3d graphic novels or canned simulations right?

They even got basketball right it seems which was very hard to do.

Honestly if it didnt deserve to sell, there would be a reason for it not to sell. The game is fun to many people, thats reason enough for it to sell?

Design wise they would get an A when compared to all of the other motion + games that are out and even some that are just announced, just because they got the motion controls right. Tiger and grand slam are great games and red steel2 looks great but I would have to say Wii resorts is the better game package right now due to how they implemented the controls. This means I will be having fun with a game rather than praising it for being pretty and cool to certain people.

You can not speak for the core when you guys can not even agree which core HD system to buy. So far all of your multiplatform games are divided right down the line with the xbox having the edge.

I speak for game design and the resort set ups rock and show off the game way better than any thing out now.

Is the Wii's main feature/ peripheral not more significant though? Yes, it is. WAY more.

If you want to talk reviews, it has a 76 on Metacritic. Why should this incredibly casual game deserve to sell just as much as an actual top notch game like Little Big Planet? Probably because Nintendo for the most part neglected the hardcore up until recently with Madworld and The Conduit, and encouraged people to buy the Wii, despite having loads of shovelware and lacking next gen features. If some of you kids want to praise "Wii/ Said Subtitle" go ahead. This is what I get for posting in a Nintendo related thread. Sorry that I made you cry. I usually adore all game systems, but Nintendo just pissed me off.

Time to go play more Zelda on my GC.

xtkxCracktheSkye this game deserve to out sell LBP and other games because people want to play it rather than just praise it. Also the hardcore are a mix bag this gen they complain about way more stuff and actually lack to skills to play older titles in most cases and on top of that most "hardcore" online are 18-36ish it seems. They don't have time for hardcore games yet they still praise them... Then you don't want others to get your system just to beat MS.

The reality of the matter is you don't sell to a customer by ragging on your competition you sell by showing people the value of your product. Ragging on the competition just bring more attention to your competition.... this is why you never hear nintendo say any thing about their competition. They are too busy polishing stuff like wii resort so it can actually sell it self when people come over.

You want see many Wii fanboys because nintendo is doing their job. There is no need to really fight and their isn't too much to talk about unless some one like your self tries to skew the facts...

No one is crying in fact why should we? Most of us posting here are only posting because guys like you embarrass us. Gaming is not about cool it is about fun first then cool. There is more substance in that mini game package than whole games on the market.

It all comes down to what you value.
