Wii Fit Sales Top 20m Worldwide, Revenue Nearing $2 billion

Wii Fit continues to sell strongly a year after its release in western markets. As a result, the game has topped 20 million units in sell-through worldwide. Only 9 other titles have sold over 20m.

I'd rather play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) than play Wii Fit, at least Legend of Max on heavy mode once is about 20+ Minutes of Wii Fit

Also if the Wii was collecting so much dust then why are the PS3s getting yellow light of death along with xbox 360 RROD due to over heating? Many Wii would be on fire right now! Hell I don't even hear about disk read errors.... the result of dust..... xbox and PS3 need their own vacuums from what I'm seeing.

Sibs a game out sold the PS3 seriously I think the PS3 is collecting more dust as you guys log on to N4G and fight over prototype's resolution and effects vs the other HD machine. Why are you not buying that hyped up bionic commando OUCh it sold less than mad world LOL and was hyped got 3 years almost WOW! - In the latest sales figures, Capcom's Bionic Commando has only sold 27,000 units in May 2009, which is pretty disappointing. So much for capcom USA! You better get cracking on the Wii now guys! I think you offical maybe loosing capcom support soon.

I mean even sing star on the PS3 is getting it's a$$ handed to it. What would be funny is if a PS3 game actually sold more copies than a xbox 360 game. I keep hearing about these exculsive that you guys give imaginary crowns to yet no one plays them let along buys them. I mean when is that going to happen? Oh and how many eye toys where sold for the PS3? What about that eye of judgment thing?

I mean really if I'm going to get mad at any thing it would be lame SONY attachments with no games. Some one brought up DDr also LOL. WOW.... at least our casual games are not as lame as SONys and MS's casual games. I would be pi$$ed too! Buzzed LOL try pulling that out for a party LAME. Now Wii fit is like the new twister or some thing.

That is shameful though be glad there are not a lot of Wii fanboys here. I mean SONY and MS could make a game to help girls fix their make up or some thing since they have cameras. It would be lame but hey thats how MS and SONY roll. Really slow......... Man it is not even fun to make fun of those systems any more. It is just shameful now. SONY and MS gave it their best and lost so badly after being given 3rd party support.

This is old news though wait it happen in japan a long time ago I believe.

Scissor, ah man, I tell you some of your posts aree not only informative but funny too! I almost forgot about Bionic Commando, and it seems so did everyone else. Boy did that thing FLOP. Funny thing is how that game was just swept under the rug as if it never existed yet madworld was paraded around as proof of something that has been long proved false. I guess those sort of games can't sell on HD systems? lol. I mean hell, even infamous quiet as its kept is underperforming, but shhhhh, lets not go into that.

Well, even more sad is that after beating Sony, Wii Fit is undoubtedly going to eclipse the Xbox 360 user base too at this sales rate.

The Wii craze is just that, crazy!!! If anything, this proves that additional accessories can sell at almost $100 extra with the right software.

Good for Nintendo, my nieces have Wii Fit and it isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's just not something I would buy myself, since I prefer my workout at the gym. People playing the Halo's sales number should see this, they might cry or go ballistic to find out that Halo 3, Halo Wars and GeOW all got pawned together (-_-);;.
