Bigotry at its finest, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Islam a major religion in Turkey? If that is the case it's possible the character in question is of the religion and is uttering prayer for good luck, you know, people do pray in this world...

Now the phrase in question, "Allah Akbar" is according to Wikipedia used in many situations,

the guy who wrote the article is stupidly implying that the word 'Allahu Akbar' is only the words of terrorist. wtf man these words are used daily by Muslims and that stupid guy attributes it to terrorism and goes as far as 9/11 - (so he's basically saying that he KNOWS the people in the plane that planted a bombing said 'Allahu Akbar'? how the fuk does he know?

As a muslim, I am offended by utter tosh such as this. And for your information, it's not "Allah Akbar". It's "Allah'u-Akbar". I say this phrase like every other thing I do, as well as "Bismillah'irrahmaan il-raheem", which means "In the name of the kind and benificent Allah", and I haven't blown up a single thing all my life.

Don't want to sound like a complete liberal and weirdo here, but the media has gotten to him. He is now thinking in the sense that "Muslims are the enemy" and his mind is making things up to sound like Muslimic things.

Someone who just watched Star Wars, or is a Star Wars nerd, would immediately focus on the "Ackbar" part of that and ignore the rest. Someone who doesn't listen to the media, and doesn't think differently of Muslimic people (such as myself) would not even notice this. We would think naively and innocently that this is just a groan of one of our opponents in this game. Some of us probably can't even see how this guy got "Allah Ackbar" out of that gibberish.

We see what we want to see. He wants to start a **** storm, and has been successfully submerged in propaganda against Muslims, so naturally he makes the connection that this garbled jumble of randomness means "Allah Ackbar", and thus makes a huge deal out of it and spreads the news around the 'net.

Just my two cents on the matter.

Its dumb and blinded people like him that promote extremism in this world. (note. i didn't mean islam. Islam isn't the definition of extremism).
The character was only saying "Allah-hu-Akhbar", which means "God is the Greatest". Mohammed Ali used say that, so did other boxers like Amir Khan. Does this now mean that they are all members of Al Qaida?
Seriously, people need to open up and see the world themselves and not get fooled by the media.
