Avenged Sevenfold doesnt even compare the Blink.They were the 90's and early 2000's. AS has some good stuff, but to say that they took over is a bit of a stretch.

Agreed...Blink 182 are a bunch of has been's. What are they going to sing about? Being 35 + with 2 kids, married and with a mortgage? They aren't 20 something anymore and need to change their music. Based on what I've heard lately, they seem to be stuck in the past.

I really don't see how the article is relevant. Its only a couple paragraphs long and briefly mentions "a" game. Who cares about celebrity's anyway?

They changed their music on the last album before they split. Many critics actually picked their last album as album of the year. They have grown up quite a bit. Anyone who has been listening to them since the Buddha and Cheshire Cat days would know this.

OH REALLY!!!? This is so exciting!!! Who would have thought that Blink-182 would like a video game, let alone Boom Blox? Hell, I gotta go purchase a Wii tomorrow and see what was it about Boom Blox Bash Party that has these guys havin so much fun!!! YAY!!! Blink made me buy a Wii!!! When Mario Galaxy, Punch-Out & Wii Fit failed!!! Blink 182 sure knows how to pump my blood for Wii.

9 - By taking over,I mean.I was a HUGE fan of Blink,but they broke up because. .
Mark didnt want to be in a band with Tom.so,he went off to form Angels And Airwaves,Mark and Travis went to for +44. And their just back together cuz apart,they all didnt make it.So.anythin Mark says is for cheap PR.I checked his twitter,man that dude is lookng for attention.and it breaks my heart,I see the 3 of them (mark,tom,travis). . . .the passion they used to have. . .I just dont see it.and Im 22 now,1st album I ever bought was Chesire Cat.so. . .A7X,their my fav band now.but Blink,they were my fav band for years and years.

Ah so that's why I thought the singer in Angels and Airwaves was so familiar when I was playing in Rock Band 2. I mean I heard the sound, but it didn't quite connect 100%. I'd still say that they have a good chance of being a good band perhaps, hopefully they will say something about releasing more of their tracks on Rock band also.

Liar! Dude Cheshire Cat came out when I was 11 or 12 and I am now 26. So don't lie and say you were listening to them since then. You know you got into them like every other person from Enema of the State. I hate when people act like they have been fans of bands from that start. Trust me on this people. Blink 182 used to play my hometown of Oakhurst CA when I was in 5th or 6th grade, before anyone knew about them.

As for Mark not wanting to be in a band with Tom that is BS. Those two have been best friends since high school. I think they all wanted to try new things. Tom formed angels in airwaves, travis did his thing with various bands and FSS. And Mark has been producing albums.

Yeah,Tom De Longe, hes lead singer of Angel And Airwaves and Box Car Racer. All of the bands,including Blink are signed to Geffen,so if they have one,expect more.Still. . . . .their old now,Im 22. . So. .their late 30s? Are they still gonna sing about skateboarding and getting dumped etc? The band. . .closed on a good note. .it should stay that way.on a good note. ,dont become another Limp Bizkit, Blink!
