I don't think it's that simple. MadWorld's graphics look great and they're an excellent creative solution to Wii's limitations. But they really wouldn't work as well in HD and I think they'd be scoffed at by most Xbox and PS3 owners who are used to ultrarealistic gore in their brawlers. MadWorld is truly best suited for the Wii.

I bought it, and it's a blast. I'm truly disappointed that it hasn't fared more strongly.

that the only games utilizing the Wii's motion controller and sell well are Nintendo first party games and games with the word "play" in the title.

I really wanted Wii owners to step up and buy a game that wasn't uber kiddy. Oh well. Hopefully MS or Sony releases a motion controller so games like this can go to a system whose owners will support it.

Most people just don't have the money for it right now. Some people actually don't like the commentary or the rapping. Platinum was not smart enough to get some real stars in on this game like the GTA guys.
I here Wu tang and ghost face will do any thing for a check now. J/K

The game is good and people are broke are afraid of being broke. It is hitting the HD systems also or it will be soon as more people are said to loose their jobs.

Maybe online competitive fighting would have helped? Too much of the game is not shown though. Some of the art is really top notch stuff.

Everytime i go into Gamestop and ask about a certain game they ask me if ive preordered "insert big hyped game for another console". When i tell them "no, i dont want that game", they always go into some conversation about why i should be hyped for that game.

Perfect example was for Halo Wars......

each employee must give out so many preorders each month. They just pick the titles that most people will hear the title or titles that will sell fast causing the customer to feel as if he/she needs a reservation.

I worked in customer service for years, i understand they must say that as part of their job, but they shouldn't have to continue to try to change my mind after i have already given them an answer to their question.

It had sold three times a smuch as God Hand though. Which was on the PS2.

EDIT: It's also good if it stays exclusive because if I asked why you won't get it on the Wii you would say one game isn't worth getting a Wii for but if it went multiplat and another game came out that you want on the Wii you would say that the new isn't enough because you can get Madworld on the PS3.

SpoonyRedMage is right. It's almost like these guys are too hardcore for the current hardcore gamers. God hand was actually an impressive brawler too. I really wonder what their HD games will do?
