the latest mario kart game was a disappointment,something was missing

the game felt overly familiar and repetitive,it was nothing special

coming from a big mario kart fan

mk 64 was a legend,mk dd was awesome,mk ds was sick,mk wii,good but not great

honestly i didn't like MK-64.
I like the Wii version more, altough to bad snaking is out.

I think MK Wii is great. I thought DD was one of the worst. I'm not sure where you're coming from with the overly familiar and repetitive just for MK Wii. They should all seem familiar. It's Mario Kart, for Heaven's sake. The online is great, I love the wheel, the bikes and the extra racers. The battle mode pretty much blows though, which is a disappointment. When I do play battle mode, I do so in double dash. Outside of that, I consider MK Wii one of the best in the series. I hear a lot of whining about the AI and how people lose to "cheap" AI. It's always been like that. To those people, I say practice up.

@ sidar I do enjoy most of the tournaments. They're good fun. This is one of the better ones. You've got a few more days. Good luck!

Exactly and that's what i don't get from that post.
It seems there is some kind of dislike obviously, but for a wrong reason.

I think mario kart:DD was misunderstood...if I recall correctly you had to work together, switching characters actually improved your speed. it was more a strategy racer. I enjoyed it though.

The tournaments, i wished they did more with that...but i do enjoy them though.
