Nintendo service rep: Disaster announced for North America

Numerous statements from Nintendo of America spokesman have echoed the same sentiment about the fate of Disaster: Day of Crisis in North America: Wait and see how the game performs in Europe. At this point, it's no secret that the game has sold rather poorly, which would lead one to believe that the game has a small chance of coming stateside. Well, my Wii has been dead for some time and I haven't gotten the urge to get it fixed or get a new one. I've had it since the midnight launch and it died on me three months ago. The games, in my opinion, suck. Plus I have a PS3 so I'm in no rush to obtain a new one or get it fixed.

@Steven, you should add these to your upcoming list. Punch Out, Rune Factory,Onechanbara,Arc Rise Fantasia,Overlord, NMH desperate struggle,House of the dead and Fragile. 09 should be a very good year for Wii games.

Disaster Day of Crisis would actually make you get a wii? Disaster looks ok but there are far better games on the wii. Like: Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda TP, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Resident Evil 4, and Okami. All of those games have been game of the year or game of the year canidates when they were released. I dont think you have even tried any of the wii games, your just talkin' sh!t.

Honestly while look at the video on ign.com, i didnt like how the shooting gameplay looks. The game looks like a bunch of minigames.

6 - The more hardcore titles the better
The big problem we wii owners are facing is that we apparently have not built up a big enough hardcore gamer base. It's important Nintendo presents viable options outside animal crossing and wiifit so we can attract more gamers to this overlooked system. No more heroes really deserved much higher sales numbers considering it's quality of gameplay.

Day of crisis should help but we really need to stack that list of titles... please please please Nintendo don't chicken out!!!

Yeah, I hope that this game comes to the U.S and has a Kick-ass marketing. Where is Player's Choice on the Wii? Oh and if you guys want a hardcore experience, we should have n-Space rerelease Geist on the Wii with new controls (Play on the Wii)
