When Christmas comes around, a glut of games is released with one demographic in mind: the kids' market. One such member of 2008's bumper winter selection is the latest title in the ever-resilient Crash Bandicoot series, a franchise whose roots lie on the original PlayStation, back when the games were created by the excellent Naughty Dog development team. Over the years, the Crash name has been victim to an onslaught of bad feeling, mainly due to Sierra procuring the series after Naughty Dog moved on to create bigger and better things (namely Jak & Daxter and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. After a progressively tiresome set of button-mashing platformers, Sierra seems to have struck gold with Crash: Mind Over Mutant on Wii - but can it live up to the high standards of the PSOne original?
