PlayStation 3 Re-establishes Itself in Japan

"Hardware sales of Sony's PlayStation 3 improve in Japan, even managing to battle Nintendo's DS in the Software Charts.

The PlayStation 3 struggled to reach 5,000 weekly units in Japan this October, even lagging behind Microsoft's Xbox 360. Things weren't looking good for the console in its home country, but recent developments suggest that the dark clouds might be clearing."

This should not be a suprise.Even tho LBP did not make that big of an impact it still helped push ps3 sales back up and that is what matters.
But look at the DSI go!!! Nintendo is really having a lovely time in this gen.

Wait, how is last remnant gonna help 360 in Japan?

Last I recalled, the japanese wanted Last Remnant PS3 more then they wanted Star Ocean 4, with the 360 version of LR not even in the top 15 most wanted titles.
LR is gonna bump up PS3 sales more then it does 360 sales in Japan.

But wait.. the ps3 has been kicking the 360's AZZ in the UK, USA, and in Japan all year long.. one month of positive 360 sales (or 4 weeks since it makes the 360 lovers happy to stretch it out) and the ps3 is dead LMFAO

The only reason why xbox 360 sales were so low last week is because they're holding off until Last Remenant drops this week. Ps3 is back to about 7,000 units themselves this week I believe. Little big Planet bombed on an epic scale, though... WOW! What a shame... a game with so much to offer and nobody wanted to take them up on it. This is bad for the industry cause now developers will just think people don't want user generated stuff... they'll give us more racers, wrestling games and FPS!!!

So who do we believe? Famitsu or these? numbers are so inconsistant it's not even funny. Eitherway they're both poor. And as for Wrestling games on both systems...??? Ok, do you have a point? How the hell is me talking about how important LBP was to the industry have anything to do with wrestling games on both systems?

sometimes you say the stupidest $#*T... Who cares if wrestling games are on both systems, it's about innovation. Let me spell it out for you... Now that LBP bombed more and more developers will want to play it safe and not do games like LBP. Ambitious games. They will opt to do run of the mill wrestling games, FPs and racers.

Doesn't matter if they're on 1 system or all systems, either. Imagine that we're still screwed.
