Wii Music: First Confirmed Tracks

Nintendo has been holding Wii Music very close to its proverbial chest as of late. They have been so protective of the product, that there was not a single track confirmed for the game - until yesterday. According to SiliconEra, and verified by Nintendo of Japan, the first six tracks on the game are as follows:

I was not at all inspired when i first saw Wii music and to be fair like most i guess, i thought the whole concept was a bit crap

How very wrong, after watching much of this in action it's fairly obvious that this is going to be huge indeed especially in primary schools and with families or at parties of course

Looks to be astoundingly good fun

One thing to keep in mind is that Wii Music competition isn't GH or RB - it's only competition will be itself :-)

RB and GH take themselves too seriously, compared to Wii Music, which is just going to be about having fun and not concerned with being the best rock star out there. You already HAVE your Guitar Hero and your Rock Band, so why would you want something the EXACT same as those? Nintendo saw those games, and thought to themselves two things:

1. Good for them, they made a market for playing games with extra controller-like peripherals.
2. Let's do something similar, but not the EXACT same, because really, who wants to be known as a copycat. Let's do our own thing.
