The franchise-staple farming-and-friends gameplay perfectly walks the line between fun and fastidious, and a remarkably deep and satisfying role-playing game hides beneath the cutesy exterior that provides many hours of addictive strategizing. While it takes forever to accomplish even basic tasks, the game manages to keep you engaged in-game day after in-game day.
