Rumor: Cancelled photos of Saint's Row on Wii pop up

An unknown source claims to have assets of Saint's Row, a game which was at one time in development for the Wii. The source further claims that Californian Mass Media Inc. was in charge of the project. The game would see obvious downgrades in textures and geometry, though the general idea was to keep gameplay intact...

how did nintendo cancel something that isn't theirs?

so they had no problems with no more heroes but saints row would be too bad?
and reggie has been wanting a gta game on the wii since the start of the wii so i don't see what nintendo has to do with this

It wasn't bad compared to other games at the time. I don't think that the Wii could have handled the gameplay, either.

I would disagree with you after seeing Conduit in action. I do not honestly see any reason why this game wouldnt run on Wii. It is after all a 1st year 360 game and we all know from dev's that they were only using about 25% of the 360's total power at that point.
