Top 5 Reasons For Wii Owners To Smile

Wii Blog: "Ever since E3 it has seemed like most of the gamers that I've grown to know, that own Wiis, have been nothing but skeptical. If you frequent video game forums across the internet, there are a wide variety of people who have done nothing but whine, and show doubt towards the House of N.

Nearly all of this changed after the Japanese & North American Fall conferences that occured yesterday, and the day prior. In light of this turning of events, I figured I should do a Top 5 list on why Wii owners should be all smiles as of now."

that pic is pure awesome

smg,the best game I've ever play this gen it's much better than mgs 4 and one of the finest games ever made.period

yes mario is the king, haters go away, ratchet:tod pales in compariosn with smg and keep in mind the difference between ps3..........and wii

what if nintendo develop a mario game based on a next gen tech,am sorry but my mind cannot imagine how MINDBLOWING it is,it will put all games including mgs 4,gta 4,uncharted,cod 4,bioshock to SHAME and even if they were COMBINED.

What exactly would next-gen visuals do? Would it make the game so much more better if Mario had a finely-tuned moustache, and wrinkles near his eyes?

@Smacktard

Perhaps a larger world would make Mario games more epic

Incidentally, I agree with both you, and Mr. Ape... To explain, i believe that for Nintendo to enrich its graphic fidelity simply for the sake of appearance value, would be wholly counterproductive.

However, think of the new game play possibilities, which could arise via a more robust Wii engine, or Wii 2 engine perhaps. As far as I'm concerned, the possibilities for Mario are endless, like the hundreds of stars he chases across castles, lakes, and galaxies. One can only hope the best of things for Nintendo, regardless of their business strategy.

That said, Nintendo does need to introduce some new genuine titles, other than Wii music, or Wii bicycle.

First 4 points make me sad to be a Wii owner. The games save this list. But why make a list of points if most of them make me feel bad?

I don't really care for the games listed.
Disregard the points, they do not make me happier to be a Wii owner.

I am disappointed in Nintendo.

im glad to own a wii for these 5 reasons

1. you can download classic games so it isn't much of a hassle going around looking for it or to try to buy a console for it
2. i learnt before the wii launch that it would have a ds demo serivice
3. and i like to get current games instead of being too behind in gaming and the games by the way are awsome so i dont see everything entirly crappy i might even like wii sports my self but i dont play it that much i play games like i stated below so i guess that makes me hardcore or not
4.i got super mario galaxy for christmas and god its so fun i was determine to get every last starbefore i offically beat the game same said for luigi character

5. one game in particular made me want a wii really bad really fast was resident evil umbrella chronicles and i got fire emblem and dragon ball z 3 for wii in less then a week i got my wii on monday thanks to the heads up of my freind who called the store 3 days before to know when a wii was going to come in stock and finally got one i said thanks to my freind and he said your welcome id do anything for wii fans

but im telling ya it was a hassle they get sold out everywhere but yeah this is my 5 reason to smile lol

Guys, Nintendo club is beyond horrible. It takes forever to get anything good since the star requirements are so high. Then when you reach that point, you realise everything is sold out, even non-material wii points. Then you cry yourself to sleep because you realise you earnt oodles of points only to have them taken away from you when they expire.
