Nintendo to Release Wii Fit Music on CD, Skips Everything Good

That's right. No soundtrack album for the orchestrated Zelda: Twilight Princess. No soundtrack for the quirky Super Paper Mario, or the amazing ambient score for Metroid Prime 3. Nintendo is giving all of us exactly what we want, which is music from Wii Fit and other non-game titles from Nintendo! Check out the translated track list for details on which games are covered.

In their defense, Super Mario Galaxy got a release from Club Nintendo, but no general release for the general public.

You have crossed the line this time. Sorry, but this is just pathetic.

Did you hear that Ninty Fanboys? I said P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.

There is no defense for this kind of tom-foolery.

LMAO.
You make it sound you never thought that before.
This dramatic crap comming from you guys is just pathetic, I said P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.

"Touch! Generations Sound Track, the CD features 25 selections from the various Touch! Generation titles released by Nintendo on the DS and Wii. This lineup includes games like, Nintendogs, Wii Fit, and Brain Age among others.
"
Just not Wii-fit.
Why can All those other composers have their CD out to the "core" (which are still made btw) but the casuals can not have a CD that's meant for them if they liked the music?
What kind of Hitler mind do you people have?

Core gamers can have a freaking Audio-CD but the casual can't?
Go wash your brain please.

You guys are not rational, not at all.

I don't think that this release is pissing people off as much as the fact that they're NOT releasing soundtracks to games like Zelda, Mario, Smash Bros., or Metroid Prime 3, which most of us would agree have some extremely well made tracks that would sound great to listen to on a lazy afternoon.

Uh, the music composers at Nintendo are paid a salary. They don't get money for music CDs. Also, game music is for hardcore fans. Casual gamers won't buy game music. It's a niche as it is, so if only hardcore fans are buying it, why not cater CD releases to them? It's crazy.

Music is Music.
Period.

Also with each CD sold a little amount goes to the Composer Unless the contract says otherwise.

How do you know they won't buy it only because they are "casual".
It's the casual market who goes out and buys music in the first place.

9 - Weird
Weird choice for a soundtrack...

I have no idea why someone would buy this, I just get creeped out by the Wii Fit music... especially with the albino monotone trainer, and the possessed Wii Balance Board that insults me.

Kill it with fire!

11 - I hope Nintendo Power...
does for Brawl what they did for Melee. That soundtrack was awesome and when I opened up my Nintendo Power and foudn that CD full of songs from Melee (which in turn were some of the best tunes at the time from Nintendo). I would love a Brawl soundtrack

Sad articles like this get more comments then the good games that are on wii.I guess people would rather have this and bash then make comments on games such as Force Unleashed or Call of Duty WaW.
