CoD5 is better than CoD4, vehicles and attack dogs confirmed

The first part of that title is purely subjective, but according to the article in the upcoming issue of GamePro that reader Mobius0077 posted in TVGB's Community Discussions area it is entirely true. That's right, the subheader of the article claims that from the time they spent with Call of Duty: World at War it is actually better than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. After reading the article and pretending it wasn't a total fluff piece TVGB can see where they're coming from.

1 - Growing optimism

I don’t pretend to be an expert when it comes to game studious but I think this time around they will get it right with Call Of Duty 5. COD3 wasn’t a terrible game but it didn’t shine like the others which were developed by Infinity ward. But this time around they are using the same engine as COD4 which means the graphics will more than likely stand the test, and I have a sneaky feeling from some of the clips that the game play could excel. I am not saying it will surpass COD4, although it might, but I do think it will be a good game. Here’s hoping!!!

To be fair to Treyarch, they were only given 1 year to develop COD3 for multiple consoles.
IW had 2 years for just PS3, 360 and PC.

I'm optimistic about COD5. It's on my radar. Let's see how the reviews go. Definitely worth a rent to see what its like.

Although COD3 was lackluster, it was far better than HAZE, Soldier of Fortune, Timeshift, or Turok. And wasn't Treyarch responsible for Tony Hawk 2 on the dreamcast? IMO w/ its level editor, TH2 is easily one of the 10 best games ever released on the console. That makes them no worse than 1-1 in my book. Let's see how the reviews shape up for COD:WaW before condemning it.

Welcome back tanks! I hope other vehicles are available as well, maybe some PT boats or something. I have always said that TreyArch is going to prove something this go-round due to all the "bad press" from COD3. (Even though I still like COD3 just as much as COD4) Me loves my tanks!

the vehicles part in cod 3 was crappy

what makes cod 4 awesome is the awesome level design,amazing pacing,unbelievablaly amazing cinimatic feeling,amazing set pieces
the weapons feeling(shooting,aiming,gun sounds,the guns in cod 4 seems perfect,etc...)the amazing multiplayer

all of those things is what I call the infinity ward magic,treyarch doesn't have that magic,the levels in cod1:finist hour,cod 2:big red one and cod 3(all developed by treyarch) have the same dumb and awekward feeling to them,everything in them is just much,much worse than IW
in short you will not find that IW trademark quality and magic

6 - I was never a fan of CoD until 4.

Sadly, a big reason for this was the WWII setting and other wars from that era. As a personal preference, the older weapons bore me. I prefer the modern/future games.

vehicule doesnt mean better . And also given that all fricking fps now includes vehicule , it was actually nice to have a little selection of fps that choose to just remain FPS ... some variety

The fact that they emphase upon it anyway , as if it one of the main feature that could top cod 4 , kinda confirms for me that Trearch doesnt get COD's appeal , and that this game isnt for me .

You're retarded if you liked COD4 and think this game is gonna suck.

The only things that have changed is weapon set and environment.

Same gameplay, better graphics, better sound, better physics, more perks, addition of vehicles, more mature theme worthy of a M rating.

Basically, if you don't think 1+1 equals 2, you should keep whining about Treyarch making World at War, for the rest of us who know World at War will be amazing, I look forward to sicking my dogs after you in MP.

1 i always said if they just randomly had dogs attack you in cod4 multi player it would make it that much more awesome.

2 if when you got a chopper you were actually in the chopper manning the gun. and you could be shot out. or you just go down with the chopper if it gets shot down. or when it goes away you would just respawn somewhere. that would be super cool.

- BB gun recoils
- Noobish perks like Juggernaut, martyrdom, 3 frag, and etc.

Cod5 is a ripoff of cod4(same engine) in a WWII timeline, multiplayer cant be better that the one in cod 4, cos i dont think they had enough time in development.

Cod 5 should be delayed at least 6 month.
