Strange that they can slag off LBP, when it's clearly the most imaginative, innovative game of this generation, then say that Dead Space could well be game of the year ?, i'm not having a go at Dead Space, i think it looks quite good but it's another survival horror adventure, LBP is something completely different.

LBP looks to be masterful work and something beautifully innovative and fresh

Will people fully appreciate all that hard work? to fully become fun it looks like possibly a lot needs to be contributed and even if there are a ton on already made levels, is this something that will wear thin once the player has gotten used to the novelty of it all

It doesn't fall into the usual and that can often lead to a lack of interest for people

Nobody should be questioning this title's quality i don't think but is this what the majority of gamers will want

Has innovation ever truly helped gain a mass acceptence of any particular game or indeed is it what the average player wants from it's games

This is just the sort of thing i expect from Sony and i think in this respect they do a better job than MS.Games these days have grown a little tiresome and LBP is wonderfully unique.That said i just wouldn't have time to fart about with it and unfortunately that may just be what a lot of others think.A shame then but certainly a possibilty

It deserves to do very well though

- Invite your friends to explore your levels(!)
- Nothing more than a glorified PowerPoint presentation(!)
- Once we're inside a level, now what?(!)
- Great, we made it from point A to point B! (what on Earth in life cannot be contributed to going from A to B?)

They have been laughed at, ridiculed and criticized by many other professional sites for such content.

LittleBigPlanet is not that hard to understand unless (like the writer) you only saw the E3 conference for a synopsis.

could we not have a 360/ps3thread with an agreed list of sites that are overly hostile biased

most sites are ok they lean one way or another

but this site and some others are gust a waste

The massive fail radiating from this article has little to do with the fact that they have a bunch of PS3 games up there in my opinion. Their idiotic reasoning for many of the games on the list is what kills any shred of credibility they may have had left.

How is it that a platformer is a 'glorified power point presentation'? That's the dumbest bit of criticism I've yet to see a site make in regards to this game. Even saying that the controls are too difficult at least sounds somewhat reasonable. But this just makes them sound they they know about as much about video games as most parents. I don't even need to say anything more about this one. Anyone who's not blind can see the stupidity here.

Dead Space
You CAN pause the game as another comment already pointed out. You just can't access the iventory and stuff that way. Again it shows their lack of research. It's pitiful really.

Yes, the fact that you can create your own songs is a bummer. They should have at least just given you 3 sounds to choose from to make it more simple. As we all know... all user generated content sucks. More options = bad. /sarcasm
