Castlevania Judgment officially announced for Wii. Online multiplayer fighting confirmed
11
Konami officially confirmed that Castlevania Judgment, the first Castlevania title in the fighting game genre, is currently in development exclusively for Wii. Developed by legendary Castlevania series producer Koji "Iga" Igarashi, Castlevania Judgment bridges the past with the present as it pits several generations of the Belmont clan against a host of characters that span the franchise's 22-year history. It will be released in North America in Fall 2008

As an added bonus, players are also able to compete head-to-head using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and connect with Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on the Nintendo DS to unlock bonus gameplay content.

The character designs look fantastic. Unfortunately, this is the worst idea for a Castlevania game ever. I'm so disappointed.

I'm not sure if you've been playing the DS games but they've taken a page out of the SOTN script. I would love an HD Castlevania in 2D. I can't blame them for trying something new. DC versus Mortal Kombat is evidence of this 'developer exploration'.

3.3 - Oh definitely, I've been playing them
I guess, I really would like to see what a Castlevania High Sprite counts 2-D(ala Guilty Gear) with 3-D elements would look like..
Imagine..how big the monsters would look like on my TV, instead of the NDS..lol
Last Castlevania I played was this one, Hey here is my setup as well

You can destroy stuff to get powerups and what not Zombies will attack while you are in battle....i think the guys know what they are doing. I'm a huge Castlevania fan and i'm totally not disappointed in this idea.
SOTN wasn't how Castlevania started. Meaning they shifted from their original idea before....And C'mon who says this will define the franchise in the future? its just a "spin-off"

When we will see a game like castelvania 64.
Perhaps this game will be good, maybe not but like a lot people, i'll wait this game impatiently.
And it's good to have new games anounced on wii (spin-off or not, i don't care it's a game).

1 - Garbage
It's garbage and an embarrassment to the Castlevania Franchise. Please make it go away and give me a real Next Generation Castlevania.
