There goes all that money I spent on thier DLC packs.
comon Activision, that is weak, really weak.
If Harmonix make DLC compatible with RB2, GH4 will get owned.

Yeah i was gona do an article on how they keep coming out with new Guitar Hero games while still releasing content for the previous ones.
I don't want to buy any of the DLC because they might come out with a new game 4 months down the line.

I love "Everlong" by the Foo's, I hope it comes to Rock Band as I don't really want another Drum in my room.
We could do with a Foo's Album on Rock Band.

Of course they aren't gonna have GHIII support they want you to download those same songs again for the next game. That's how they are making most of the money.

6 - No support for GH3 DLC?
That is a big shot in their own foot. I'm glad I didn't buy anything related with Guitar hero, and probably never will until the songs are compatible.

7 - I think we all saw this coming...
However, the only real question/concern I have is if this new guitar will make the old guitar obsolete and the current PS3/XBOX 360 guitars will not be compatible. I haven't seen or heard anything about hardware compatibility.
All I can say is if the current guitars aren't supported than they definitely lost my business (unless they can do a REALLY reasonable bundle, but I really don't see that happening). I don't think I'm the only one either.
I'm very happy with Rock Band, and actually a little disappointed with the guitar response on Guitar Hero this gen. I bought Guitar Hero 3 for the PS3 even though I had it for PS2 because I found the guitar difficulty on GH3 to be slightly superior/harder/more fun than RB and I wanted to have the online play. However, I've had problems GH on PS3 that I didn't have with the PS2 version (and no, it's not a A/V lag problem).
In my eyes, it's Guitar Hero that now has something to prove, and it better be not only impressive, but affordable, compatible with older hardware and the DL content better be in line with RB pricing. $2.50 a track and $6.25 a pack when RB is delivering more product (guitar, bass, vocals, drums) for less money (with tracks and packs occasionally costing $.99 and $2.99 respectively) on a weekly basis is just ridiculous.

1 - not sure...
still not sure how this touch sensitive thing will work. I mean yeah it can modify the notes but what else can it do. Oh its also involved in the music maker. Im definetly getting this instead of rock band now.
