1UP: Emergency Heroes Review

It's the wide-ranging lack of polish that really damns Emergency Heroes to a forgettable existence, as the player vehicles have all the floaty steering and shaky physics of a shovelware budget title (but with twice the price tag), and 1UP even managed to crash the game by falling through the ground during one mission. Slowdown and pop-in are regular occurrences, making an otherwise decent-looking Wii game resemble San Francisco Rush at times, and the generic city bears few distinguishing landmarks from street to street; if this is what the future looks like, count 1UP out.

Luckily, that same attitude can be applied to the entire Emergency Heroes experience. Apologies to the emergency-service professionals out there -- gaming will get it right someday. Hopefully.
