Plastic Shield Protects Your TV From Your Wii - Wired

Wired writes:

Nothing spoils the party like the impact of an accidentally airborne Wiimote smacking into the fragile glass front of your big-screen LCD TV. D'oh!

What you need is something like TV-Armor, a quarter-inch acrylic shield that hangs between your TV and objects that would do it harm, from flying remote controls to Tonka trucks to highball glasses.

The manufacturer describes it as being made of optical-grade acrylic, with a 90-degree bend near the top for hanging it, and a series of 1/4-inch thick felt spacers to separate the plastic from the TV's surface and to absorb impact. Velcro straps secure the shield to the TV.

"Balls, Toys, Wii controllers, TV remotes, beer cans, etc, are all easily stopped by TV Armor," says the company's Michael Cunningham.

my best mate broke his 50"LCD on the second day of him playing wii sports bowling. haha so funny, swinging soo fast that not only did the controller slip from his hand, but also broke the strap and went rocketing towards the screen.. haha oh the hilarity.

What also works is if you're not a retard. When playing Wii Sports, use the strap. Also, you don't need the stupid little attachments. All you need is a Wii remote and a nunchuck. That is all I have needed to play any game. This site is getting annoying.

All you have to do is have a firm grip on the damn wii mote and use the strap. I'll NEVER see how those things fly through TVs and Windows.
