3 - I hope they make this for the PS3 as well
The graphics make the game look like Fatal Frame 2

Not to mention I think the Sixaxis feels more like a camera in your hand when you tilt it up.

3.1 - Um... where have you been
There is no PS3 version in developement... it is a Wii exclusive... plus the six axis does not have IR how exactly would it make a good camera? I personally turn off six axis controls whenever I play PS3 games and I think this game is fine enough as it is on Wii...

Yeah this would be cool on the PS3 with the Sixaxis. I wish they would stop being cheap and develop this game for the PS3 also.

The article did hint at the game play being changed and has focused game design to utilize the new Wii controller, to make the game even scarier.

You still have a camera and that's part of the storyline, but the article emphasized "horror by touch", so I'm guessing (purely my guess) you have to pick up a lot of things and it scares you by rumbling?
If there's a lot of interaction by utilizing the nunchucks, like using it to pick up stuff, opening doors and such, the game could be more engaging and scarier because you are actually doing the action...

Again, the nunchucks part is purely my guess, but I'm really looking forward to how they improve the gameplay specifically for the Wii in this one to make it scarier.

" I wish they would stop being cheap and develop this game for the PS3 also"

Its not about being CHEAP, its the concept which apparently suits best on the Wii( else it wouldn't be on the wii...get it?). Its all about DESIGN(and when people say " design " its not just about how it would look, but also how it would work).

Saying they could have used the Sixaxes....Maybe they could have...but this design would be more Flawed then using the Wii-mote.
Wii-motes have IR(...so you could AIM?), unlike the Sixaxes that only supports motion in 3d Space...

Now if you have some common sense even you know the Wii mote goes way better with this concept then the Sixaxes.

edit: it seems the one above me already pointed it out, my bad.

I know there isn't a PS3 version in development, I never said there was.

I'm hoping that the game does make an appearance on the PS system like the previous 2.

Also, how is the Wiimote suppose to control this?....
Just like every other game, with the walking on the chuck and the pointing on the remote. Good luck trying to unlock stuff by taking a picture of a fast moving ghost behind you with that setup.

The Wii could have been a great system for all, had they made it more refined. Now its an inaccurate toy.

Night, If you hold the Sixaxis strait up and down, where does your index finger rest? Like its on the top of a camera maybe? I've never taken a picture with my thumb while holding my camera out in front of me.

Sixaxis is fun in Uncharted (balance when walking across a thin plank) They could do the same with this game for taking the actual snapshots of the ghosts.

Nice, down to 3 bubbles.

"I'm hoping that the game does make an appearance on the PS system like the previous 2.
'

the thing is, Nintendo is being a part of this game too.
I really don't think There will be one in the future, on the Ps3 that is..

" Also, how is the Wiimote suppose to control this?.... "
...you do realize that the development team isn't just gonna try and give a control scheme with out making it solid first?
Nintendo is even helping them.

Also, if you gonna talk about inaccurate stuff, don't defend the Sixaxes...using the sixaxes for this is just nonsense....the idea is just laughable xD

" Sixaxis is fun in Uncharted (balance when walking across a thin plank) "

so you balance to make a picture...interesting....

6.2 - Well..
There is no problem with the setup you described for the Wii... After all shooters utilize that set up and those games require fast reflexes. The problem with the six axis (with this game) is that without IR you can't point at anything to take pictures. You would have to move a reticule with the analog stick and then take a picture. That wouldn't feel very comfortable (in my opinion) and it wouldn't be as immersive as pointing and clicking.

Oh and by the way, I thought six axis in uncharted was pretty silly (my opinion). If motion control on the six axis is relegated to balancing a character on a thin plank, then I think the PS3 is better off without six axis...

I know you are entitled to your own opinions, but calling the Wii an inaccurate toy is kind of childish. All the games I own (12 Wii games) work fine with the Wii remote.

What 12 games do you own which work fine with your remote?

I'm sorry but I can't understand when your calibrating the remote on the screen, that it actually feels like its pointing where you are. Its always either over or under the point you are aiming.

Sidar "Nintendo is being a part of this game too"

Sorry I must have missed this part. Where does it say Ninty is helping out with the development?

EVERY game I have played on the Wii other then ones developed by Nintendo, have had gimmicky controls. I'm not saying Nintendo's games are not gimmicky, they are just a bit more accurate.

IR is not accurate, its a dead technology for a reason. LoS is great when sending a signal. /sarcasm

"Also, if you gonna talk about inaccurate stuff, don't defend the Sixaxes"

I never said the Sixaxis was accurate.

Also (since I only have 3 bubbles)

"so you balance to make a picture...interesting.... "

Don't be an idiot.

Use the analog stick to walk like normal
You tilt the controller up when you want to go into "camera mode"
Press R1 to snap a photo,

I was just hoping for something along the lines of Folklore.

Sidar
You back to Wii Sports yet? Or have your mastered all of the Mario / Zelda games already? *I'm referring to the lack of good 3rd party games you have to chose from*
