Is it just me or is their advertising for this just a little over the edge. I can't remember if Rock Band tried to glam the game as much as Guitar Hero is trying to. But really, I'm turned off of GH IV from that. At least change the name to reflect what the game is now.

All these companies are doing is making more and more crappy drum sets, by the end of 2009 there will be about 10 different drum kits available. With none of them being able to be played on the competitors games. Plus i dred to think how much its gunna cost, probably as much as a wii or 360

4.1 - yeah ... no more incompatible peripherals
would be sweet. But I think they're more likely to scrooo us out of more $$$$. With all these rhythm games coming out I'm also concerned about tracklists being watered down since there will be more companies vyeing for the best music. I'll be buying the game disc only... BUT that's only if they have a decent tracklist this time around.

BUT, I am intrigued by the part that says "Record and release your own singles." If this game really does let you record your own songs, then...whoa.

The record your own singles feature doesn't let you use vocals, they deliberately added an extra button to the drum pad so people with rock band would have to purchase the new drums. This game seems very much a waste of money compared to Rock Band and its excellent use of downloadable content.

yeah that would be a great, but it should also include a second foot pedal and they should make that set compatible with GHIV...

but i doubt it will happen... then Harmonix would be blamed for ripping off, but i think they should still do it...
