5 - Loosing faith

im actually startin to loose more faith in vgcharts after it showed the ps3 winnin evy week in NA in april only to be shown wrong when npd showed that actually the 360 beat the ps3 by under a thousand units. also recently ms them selves said that they are 5M infront but vgcharts show that the 360 is over 6.5M in front. anyway this is the nearest thing with have to a acurate unified world wide sales chart.

5.1 - You do understand that both places just do a pull of retailers they have

connections with and then guess. NPD has a lot more sources so they are considered more reliable but data from both places are merely an educated guess. Not taking one side or the other but just letting you know that NPD numbers aren't perfect either. Only way to really tell is when the companies report to share holders.

Finally, someone realises NPD isn't the Bible of retail figures. They do the same thing VG charts does, they just have a larger sample to go off. I guess its easier when you dont have to cover the whole world. They dont even cover Walmart so how can they be exact?

Face it, on a world wide basis VG is the best we have, and while numbers might be out, whose leading is usually pretty right, unless its that close in a particular region, then who cares, its equal.

Put it this way, VG has had PS3 winning World wide since about October and when the real numbers came out we found Sony outsold XB for the year thanks to those late months when it really picked up.

All this complaining now about VG is just because the shoe has changed feet.

6 - um quick thing people. i really think vgcharts understimates ps3 sales in europe by a milestone.

i mean, if the ps3 caught up to the 360 16 months later then i can assure you that it was outselling it by more then 20 thousand a week.

Actually, if history has taught us anything VGcharts OVERTRACKS 360 sales and UNDERTRACKS PS3 sales. So for all we know the 360 probably sold less than what we're being shown and the ps3 probably sold more.

sony just about beating the 360 in only one major gaming region. even you sony sheep cant claim japan as a victory because nintendo has raped them at home. sony have been double penetrated in NA.

you sony sheep that are concerned with numbers dont really have much to smile about nowadays. slaugthered by nintendo in every region, and the biggest market, i.e: NA is held by microsoft and nintendo....with sony in a pathetic third, and will be for a LONG TIME. only europe has stayed faithful.

dont knock haze cuz of the reviews. 4.5 is ridiculously low compared to 9.0. so either the games really good or its horrribly bad, or its in the middle. im still gonna see for myself tomarro and you will get my honest opinion. anyway famtisu is always accurate when it comes to reviews cause i did some research and found out that IGN never gave a ps3 exclusive a decent review when others gave it a 9 or 8, and ive played thoes games and it turned out that its was the total oppisite of what IGN said. GoldenEye got a 4.5?!? cmon now.
