I am not a Pokémon fan, but it is definitely a good idea. However, I am not sure Nintendo would give such a big project to a small developer.

Look Pokémon has been maximized up the ass, if you don't do an MMO at this point, you would've built the franchise up for nothing. Too bad Nintendo would think of the kids being "raped through the game" and not do an MMO, more than likely.

I haven't played any of the Pokemon games in awhile but i still have fond memories of the series and after thinking about it a Pokemon MMO done right could be really awesome. On the other hand it could also be complete crap if not done correctly. If done right though they could make it very similar to the show in the way the game works and that would be pretty fun imo.

Im a fan of the old pokemon from the 90's when they only had 150 pokemon. Now its like there just tring to milk the cow for all its worth which isn't a bad thing but I mean come on. What they need to do is bring back pokemon red blue and yellow! Those were the best in the series to me at least.

and its an mmo. id want it so that you could do everything on your own or meet up with thousands of other in one huge world. you could also battle together as a team or against each other,
i want to see a fully 3-d, interactive pokemon world with flocks of pidgeys flying overhead and pikachu's running through the long grasses. riding on the backs of blastoise. and they'd have to be proportionately the right size compared to the character. (imagine having to take down an enormous 17" dialga while its stomping and thrashing about. a pretty sweet concept)

i want the game to be as the series looks on tv. masive worlds, heaps of adventures and lots of cool looking, moving, pokemon. the pokemon should wanna run/swim/fly/ away if your pokemon are strong and wanna hassle you if you are weak. and when you run after/away from pokemon you actually have to manouvre the character to run.
this time make one or two versions, but if 2 versions, make it so that between the 2 games, all of he pokemon can be caught including rare ones. it should be a massive game that could take hundreds of hours to capture all the pokemon and the story would totally kick it.

thats my dream for the pokemon franchise... ahh a man can dream

Since day damn one. Many people like Pokemon, many people don't want to keep buying new pokemon games. It's only smart to make an MMO of it and possible (Just quite possibly) charge a rate of it, and if not for the whole content at least a rate for extra content and such.

There's already WoW, and everyone knows how HUGE the Pokemon series is. People would be so addicted to it, it would cause chaos. I've always wanted a Pokemon game on the home consoles that featured the gameplay of the GB/DS games, but Nintendo has never taken it to that level yet. It would be interesting though...

They would not put this on the wii, but wait to put it on the next console. Better yet, they could put it on the computer which would make it so much easier to play. Plus, id it was on the computer, you could get patches and downloads of new pokemon, regions, etc. Oh, but I forgot that we were talking about nintendo. I'm saying this with hope for the future, while trying to be blind to the present.
